Free Rice
*This website offers vocabulary practice ranging from easy to difficult--but you get to donate rice to countries in need of food while you practice! Once at the site, click on subjects, and then under language learning, choose Spanish. For each answer you get right, The World Food Programme donates 10 grains of rice!
Conversation Exchange
*If you want to be really serious about advancing your speaking skills and improving your grammar, this exchange program lets you email, chat, or even Skype in with experienced native speakers from any country you desire! You can make your own profile about your language goals and then search people based on gender, age, country, interests, skill level, etc. The catch--you have to help them with their English!:) If you find the right someone, it could be a friendship in the making!:) *Remember to practice online safety!

*I LOVE this site for practicing your Spanish!! You can set a goal for each day and learn a wide variety of vocab and grammar through speaking, listening, and writing exercises. You can download the app as well--which will remind you to keep up with your goals--so no excuses!!
7th and 8th graders:
Realidades Online Site: (though this textbook is no longer used in Wake County--it still has similar and helpful resources that align with the Spanish 1 curriculum.)
Go to: http://www.phschool.com/home.html to get to the Spanish textbook website.
Once there, on the left hand side of the screen,choose World Languages.
Under Student Resources, choose Textbook Companion Sites.
On this screen, choose Realidades textbook and on the next screen, choose Level 1.
From here, you now have access to the book. You can find relevant information that aligns with the 5 Units of Spanish 1 including different activities, audio files, puzzles, and preparation for the test.
